    Hello

I have been asked by a friend to set up an online shop. Actinic Catalog seems to be the way to go.

My question is: will I be able to develop the site on my personal machine (ie customise the look and load in the products) and then take the configuration to my friends machine which resides in their high street shop?

In other words, can i install the Catalog software on two machines? licencing issues?

I don't really want to spend hours sat in my customers shop tweaking the site, when i could be in the comfort of my own home

    Thanks all

Donr see any problems with that. You will have to develop then install at the shop and not have two copies running at once

As far as I am aware, you can install Catalog on as many machines as you like so long as you have a unique key for each website using Actinic.

What you are proposing/asking is prefectly legal. You can even continue to maintain the site on your PC after you have installed it on the high street PC. The main thing that you have watch out for is keeping the installations in sync.

If you ever need to develop multiple sites then consider getting your own copy of Developer.
