    CGI script

Hi, this is my first post on here so i hope i give enough information.

I have been using actinic on my desktop (xp) for 3 years with hardly any problems until today. I have snapshotted my site onto my new laptop which is vista. whenever i try to test the network settings it gets to testing cgi script and then fails producing a dump file

I have tried removing antivirus, firewalls and even changing any setting that i can think is relevant.

    Please help, Paul.

I know you've tried to "test" the settings, but does it upload? If it doesn't, what happens?

Can you preview the site OK? Where are the site files sitting (in Actinic Vx or My Documents)? What version of Actinic are you using?

        What version of Actinic?

anything less than 7.07 will not work on vista

If the site in question is 'oakfield-direct' then the version is V9 according to the response from a yourdomain/acatalog/ver.fil check

            hi, it is version 9.

It will let me upload the site, but slowly.

have you changed the script id and then compacted the database and restarted actinic, i will behonest i had real problems with a v9 and a snapshot on vista think it was v9.0.2 or v9.0.3

I only had this problem on one site though
