For some odd reason emails from Actinic are failing to be sent since Sunday pm, test comes back with
Actinic Mail Test completed successfully
server: passed
connection: passed
sockets: passed
communications: failed
authorisation: failed
message: 535 Incorrect authentication data
and in the error log:
Program = MailScri, Program version = 18819 , HTTP Server = Apache , Return code = 999 , Date and Time = 2010/02/22 12:42, Internal Errors = Error returned from SMTP server (1: 535 Incorrect authentication data
)
Regardless of using localhost, checking/unchecking authentication etc., always returns same message. I did get it to work briefly this morning using the regular domain name SMTP settings by doing a site refresh, but it's packed up again and refresh hasn't cured it. Have disabled firewall and that makes no difference. Any ideas what could be going on, would it be a problem at the hosting company?
