    Hi,

as mentioned in another thread (which I've closed). I have changed hosts and now having problems uploading the site.

I have configured the network settings. I've run the TEST and everything passed including getting the TEST email. So all good BUT I can't upload the site.

Click on WEB / REFRESH WEBSITE and nothing happens. I just get the hour glass on the mouse, not the normal popup box telling about the upload etc. I've rebooted, compacted the website, left it for 10 mins and nothing happens. Just the hour glass.

    Any ideas anyone?

PS I've check permissions on the server for cgi-bin and acatalog - all OK. Running v9.03 on linux dell servers. Network settings included below:-

    Tow things come to mind:

    1. Try changing:

    PATHFROMCGITOCATALOG ../public_html/acatalog/

    to

    ../acatalog/

    2. Try changing passive ftp from on to off.

Other than that who's the web host?

Also try changing the cgi script ID number from 1 to a never used before number (like 2,3,etc).

        Thanks Mike,

if I change the PATHFROMCGITOCATALOG to ../acatalog/ as you suggest it get an error during TEST of

"Your Catalog URL appears to be invalid. The files uploaded to the given 'Path from cgi-bin to online store folder', can not be downloaded via the browser on the given Catalog URL. These two access routes don't point to the same destination on the server."

I get the same error if passive ftp is ON or OFF

Leaving the PATHFROMCGITOCATALOG as ../public_html/acatalog/ then turning passive ftp ON or OFF passed the TEST fine but back to the orignal problem

It wont Publish or Refresh. What happend when it trys to REFRESH? If the network settings are passing the TEST what happens when you click PUBLISH?

The new hosts are Ultimate Web Hosting running Linux CentOS

        Any ideas welcome

            Hi, Matt

Weird, eh! I've seen this mentioned many times on the Community but it had never happened to me until a bit earlier today when testing a V8 site.

I got the spinning hourglass and, in another bit of wierdness, could still interact with Actinic. Also got a sort of "blahhh" error noise when closing Actinic while the hourglass was still showing.

            Thus fresh in my mind.
