FTP Upload problem V9

My Site is using V9 business plus with one extra user on windows XP

Site has worked well for a year with no changes apart from adding stock and now have about 1300 items.

Saturday it would not upload, It started checking HTML pages, catalogue and search indices as it normally does in the upload program but then the upload box just disappeared.

I have tried refresh website and website purge and refresh as suggested by my ISP but with no improvement.

Network setup test works fine

sometimes it gets to the base file part of the upload but stops there.

Now the shopping cart has stopped working online but I still cannot upload.

Does anyone have any ideas.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Did you not see one entitled Upload and Server Problems whose 4 word title incorporates 2 of the words in your title?

The people who are most interested in solving upload problems will be there.

It suggests:

a) Deleting all the files on the server in case a corrupted file is the problem.
b) To remember to check you didn't change your password.

If there are any existing orders on your server (.ord files) then it's best to back them up first.
