Product Database Size
I am presently looking for a B2B website ordering database engine for our company. We are an office supplies dealer, and hold over 20,000 products. Has anyone put this sort of size database in Actinic? Sales say they can not comment on anything over 10,000 products. My aim is a minimum of 20,000 and ideally, more like 40,000. Any comments?

We have had customers going up to 16,000 and 18,000 without too many problems. The search works fine still on very large stores. The main problem is that you need a large amount of disk space on your PC and on the website as Actinic will generate a page for each section in the store. Also, if anything goes wrong, and you need to do a refresh, it could take hours and hours to upload the store again.
