CGI issues

I am having issue with the paths for my CGI's I am hosting my cart on one server and my SSL pages on another secure server. The site uploads but the errors relate to the paths for the " Path from CGI-BIN to online store folder" & " Path to CGI BIN" However the CGI's are uploading.

The cart seems to work but not the checkout. One issue seem to be when i click on "checkout" it tries to go to https://secure.MYSSLWEBSITE.com/cgi-bin/os000003.pl

It will not find this file (despite the fact i can see it within the CGI folder on my secure server), but it comes with error " A General Script Error Occurred Error: Error opening configuration file ../acatalog/A000.cat. No such file or directory


I think the problems is the "Path from CGI-BIN to online store folder" & "path to CGI-BIN) in the network settings for standard and SSL. I have tried the automatic setup but it keeps crashing.....

I have uploaded a screengrab of my FTP and Actinic if anyone can shed some light.

Also if I upload the cart minus SSL the cart works fine. So I think this is more how the SSL CGI's talk or pooint to standard CGI's

Any help would be appreciated.

AFAIK when you use SSL with Actinic you need all the Actinic files to be 'mirrored' onto the SSL server and this is normally setup by the webhost when you activate SSL. (essentially, they setup the server so that all the web pages & files can be accesses via normal http or https).

How this works when you have SSL on another server I have no idea. From the sound of it this could be your problem as it looks to me as if Actinic is reporting that can't find the files it needs on your SSL server.

best talk to your host and see what they say.

PS. Looking at your image, it looks as if your SSL 'path from cgi-bin to online store' is NOT ../acatalog/ It look more like it could be ../httpdocs/acatalog/ or something similar.
