    DR WEB email reply issues

I have customers telling me that cannot reply to our emails and get a message saying unable to reply as DR WEB found an unknown object - anyone else experienced this?

I use outlook via Actinic hosting.

UPDATE: Switching to plain text has improved things but looks awful!

If you google the error message you will find it refers to virus activity

Switching to plain text has resolved it, did a full virus scan and nothing shows, I am assuming that something HTML is being blocked on replies by DRWEB.

Spoke to support and it is an issue with the recent update of the anti virus at Actinic with their hosting, they are looking in to this....

If you have good anti virus log in and turn off their anti virus in your hosting control panel for emails and all will work.

Dr.Web, the AV scanner used on lots of hosting platforms has had a bad update, on or around the 15th December. We have been working to resolve it and hopefully now have it fixed on our Actinic Hosting.

For other hosting platforms you may need to check if the Dr.Web scanner is part of the control panel (like it is with Plesk) and get the appropriate Plesk update applied.
