Website Down as well as Host-it website

We currently have our website hosted on host-it, but around an hour ago our site went down.

Host its website is also down and there contact telephone number and skype phone also do not work.

Does anyone have any information about what is going on?

No information, but our sites are all down too (dedicated server). Fingers crossed for a quick resolution...

I find it strange that the host it website is also down as well.

Usually it is just our website , I have checked other websites using host it and they are also down as well.

Do you have a contact number to get hold of someone there?

Ours are all back up now.

we left host it / 4sure after several years due to support going dow hill.
They even stung us when we left after our site was down for several days with no orders. Funny when we moved the site to a new server orders started up straight away.
They would not refund any of the money we paid for our years hosting.

Be warned, to not pay in advance with host it, if you have to move server they will not refund you for the remaining time you have.

Hi,

At around 3pm yesterday one of our AMF power control panels suffered a catastrophic failure causing a power interruption to part of our facility at Northampton DC1. Our engineers attended to this within minutes with all staff and engineers following their planned roles for such an event.

Electricians and manufacturers of the power system panels were onsite and on the phone trying to resolve the matter as quickly as possible whilst engineers made preparations ready for when power was to be restored - with around 600+ servers in this facility alone it's a mammoth task but fortunately our engineers are fully trained and briefed for such a situation.

Rest assured we are working with all of our available resources and moved engineers from other facilities to assist. At the moment we are continuing to sort out the final parts of the restoration.

We urge that if anyone needs any assistance at all please raise a support ticket via the normal means as we have had engineers working through the night to answer any of your queries.

Who are you using now.

We are using 'nublue' VPS solution, have moved from actinic to another platform but like to keep an eye on actinic as it was once great, maybe we car return one day when the online verison is afordable,user freindly and allows a product to be associated with more tha 3 categorys.

I would love the number of categories to be expanded and its nice to know that Cryton and myself are not alone on this !

Until they address this I won't be signing up for the online version.
