Good Day,
I have a 3 sites with 123-reg. At present they each have their own hosting package. 123 is now offering unlimited site hosting on one hosting package using domain mapping. I am looking at creating a new website (with a new domain name) to replace one of the others and thinking of cancelling that package and using one of the other hosting packages to host this site as the money could be spent elsewhere.
I understand that you have your main hosting domain i.e 'www.example.com'. You then add a folder to that site, i.e "www.example.com/website1", and add domain mapping.
Is this suitable for Actinic sites? My main concern is the scripts. 123 states that "The Root directory of your hosting package is cgi-enabled. You can put your scripts in the main directory or create a folder called cgi-bin."
How does Actinic work with this and what settings would I need? Do I create a CGI bin in my "website1" folder for Actinic?
Kind Regards
Peter
