    Moving server error

    Hi,
The setting enclose are those for the old server, and having just changed the server setting the upload failed.
The new server is with tsohost.com on the Linux platform
    Actinic Business: 8.5.3.0.0.0.IDHB
So I tried changing the following:
    Compacted data base
    Change /Httpdocs/ to public_html/
CGI Script ID from 67 to 1
I left the field Path from CGI…etc.: blank
Checked that cgi-bin is set to 0755
Also checked that the permission on the acatalog folder is set to 0777
So I then ran the network wizard + test setting everything is fine until I get to the Mail Server, when I get the following message:
An error occurred while sending an HTTP request to the web server.
Perhaps your network is down or the web server is down.
Try again or contact your network administrator or ISP to correct the situation.
As my network/server were not down at the time, and I can see the test html etc, were successfully uploaded. i do not understand why it should fail on the mail test!
So can anyone shed some light on this for me?
    Attached Files

If the mail is failing then you should check with your new host on the settings required for sending mails from a web application, most hosts no longer allow sending mail without authentication and you have no authentication set at present for the mail.

      Upload error

Thanks for your comments, and changing server/mailing helped but still had a problem until I remove public_html in cgi-bin/actalog link field, so site now back up.
