    FTPS not supported !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been told by our hosting company that we need to change to FTPS in order for their servers to be PCI complient.

Unfortunately I have just been told by the tech support guys that Actinic/Sellerdeck doesnt support FTPS.

How does everyone else get around this problem?

Surely, if the servers are not PCI complient then they are in breach of the current regulations for on line stores!!!!!

PCI compliance only applies to payment processing.

Most people use a PSP to process payments and therefor only need to be compliant on their internal payment handling process, not on their web servers.

We have all the SSL certificates etc. so are all compliant on that score.

Our hosting company are saying that we need to have FTPS for their servers to be compliant so that nothing is sent in clear text which Actinic doesn't support.

They're wrong re PCI and being stubborn. Unfortunately, you've little choice but to change hosts.

Perhaps whoever thought up that stupid rule will get the sack after enough customers leave.

Go to a host that takes care of it all for you, ensuring no downtime for your business

              Basic summary steps:

              1. Upload/duplicate site to new hosting first
              2. Move Order sequence number forward on new host (to avoid conflict)
              3. Download last orders
              4. Change domain to point to new hosting

There are several other things we do to ensure you can continue to take orders and not lose any orders, but the primary aim is zero downtime for your customers.
