Hello Community,
Can anyone help with a Unix server problem that we have.
We have been running V9 successfully for 6 years or more on a Windows 2003 IIS6 dedicated server but decided to upgrade to new hardware and run the Unix CentOS and ditch Windows.
We believe we have configured the server correctly and have successfully uploaded the site to the new server and once we had sorted permissions issues out it seems to test just fine.
However - when we run the network test feature on the V9 ftp 'advanced settings' control panel, when the test routine gets to the "testing CGI Script test" it crashes out the application and throws up the following message...
"Actinic has encountered a problem, and has closed. You will need to restart it" It goes on to say that it has created a .dmp file etc etc.
We have examined the .dmp file and it gives no obvious clues as to the problem. Because the test falls over we are not confident in re-pointing the DNS to the new server and going 'live' yet.
Can anyone out there help resolve this issue?
Many thanks
