UK and US versions on one PC?

I have a client who wishes to run 2 stores, one for the US market with prices fixed in $, and one for the UK market, with prices fixed in GBP. They DON'T want the prices to be based on an exchange rate.

So, we're essentially going to buy the US version AND the UK version and run them as 2 separate sites.

Can the US version of Actinic Business 6 be installed alongside the UK version on the same machine? What other issues should we be wary of?

You just need to license a new site within your UK version of the software.

You can then change the default currency of your new site to dollars (in 'Business Settings | Options'). You will probably need to edit the tax settings as well.

I tried this building a store for Sure Solutions but it never came across to the US version very well and Brian had to redo the site.

You have to also watch for Shipping and PSPs amongst other things like TAX.
