Hi

Im new to all this but im in the process of creating a website with the trial version of actinic catalog 6.1.4 and see how it works out but i know i need cgi scripts to run the shop i also need frontpage extensions what else do i need to look for when searching for someone to host my site at the cheapest price (or sugestions )

how do i submit my website to search engines?
how do i get high up in the search engines?

As for search engines, u can use software to submit to them, but if u want the top rating see something like google adwords which u will have to pay for.
