    Xilo.net Network Settings

    I have a Xilo.net SiteHostXtra account. I have been sent the network settings from them but they don't work. Tech Support not too helpful. My problem is getting scripts to work in the cgi-bin. I have the right permissions set I'm sure.

    Does anyone have any experience of using Actinic Catalog on Xilo servers? If so, I would appreciate some feedback on settings. Thanks.

    Hi David

    Could you post your network settings (with the username and password *ed out).

    What, if any, are the errors when the settings are tested?

      Thanks for your response. I'm in The Maldives for a week, when I get back I'll e-mail you my settings.

        ======================================

        I get the following on Network Test:
        "Unable to move to the cgi-bin directory "/cgi-bin/" on the FTP server.
        The specified directory does not exist or you do not have access to the directory."

        If you let me have your Actinic e-mail address I'll send you my ftp details so you look on the server.

        Regards

          Your network settings look textbook-correct.

          Ben's away for the next few days so I would suggest registering an email support request at http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm as the team there will be able to take a look at your server and test it for you.
