    Uploading the store

At present I do not have the details for my clients domain so I have opted for uploading the design so far, to our website in a sub folder used to display ongoing work to our clients.
The finished website and store will be uploaded to the clients domain and SSL which will be hosted on our servers.
I want to know if i can get the store to work correctly without having the Secure hosting , basically , will the catalog operate correctly in a temporary situation like the one described above.
Or will the fact that it is all contained in a subfolder mean that actinic will want to upload the acatalog folder to the same level as our own website pages.

Hope this isnt to confusing a question.

    Can anyone help.

    Thanks for your time.

You should be able to do what you describe with no probs.

Simply use a 'Catalog URL' of something like...

    http://your.URL/subfolder/acatalog/

And a 'path from cgi-bin to acatalog directory' of something like...

    ../htdocs/subfolder/acatalog/

With regards to SSL, as long as you don't have 'SSL on' selected in 'Business Settings | Payment and Security' you should be fine - Actinic will not require a secure server.
