    cgi-bin problems

I need some help please after unsuccessfully trying to fix this issue from posts. I keep getting the error below even thought the file in question is in the cgi-bin directory.

    CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

    Can't locate sl000001.pm in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib . cgi-bin) at c:\inetpub\wwwroot\catalogsite\cgi-bin\ss000001.pl line 17.

    Thanks

    Ed

What version of the software are you using, i.e. 6.1.4 maybe, and have you spoke with the hosts to see if they have perl set up properly and to the required version of perl?

I am testing the latest version 7 and have ActivePerl-5.8.4.810 on the server. It is running on a standard Windows 2000 server with IIS5.

Would hazard a guess that something is not quite set up right in that case, otherwise you would not be getting the header errors...

Have you spoken with your hosting provider or server manager if your own about this error as they should have stuff in the logs to assist with this in that case...

We host our own websites, I can check with support if they have any idea. We do not generaly use Perl so there is not much expertise in-house.

I thought someone might have had a similar issue.
