I have a site1 directory for a web-site that was never set live, how do I find out what version it was created under??
I've tried copying it into v5 and that didn't seem to work.

If you ever find yourself in this situation again, there is normally a file within the site 1 folder (and uploaded to the acatalog directory) called ver.fil.
It is a text file that contains the version number and the four letter sub version code."OK Venus?"
