Issues backing up databse upon closing of Actinic V7

Backup.mdb
I use Actinic Multisite v8.5.3. In the Site1 folder are Backup.mdb and Previous.mdb. But there are not the same files in the other site folders.
So my question: what are these files and why are there only 2 of them? I know Actinic uses an Access database but I rather expected one per...
