Adding product thumbnails on homepage

We are using Business V8 8.5.3 IDHB the ‘smart’ theme on my brother site www.oakis.co.uk, and I now want to add some link product group thumbnails to homepage. I tried looking through the help manual but cannot find how this can be achieved, so hopeful someone here can help me?

Hello, just wondering if/how I could reposition the featured products section on the homepage so that it is between two fragments?!

Any help would be much appreciated!
