    Well, I've got it working to an extent now.

    Code looks like this now...

    Code:
    <a href="<actinic:variable name="HomePageURL" />">
    <img
    	src="<actinic:variable name="BrochureLogo" />"
    	width="<actinic:variable name="BrochureLogoWidth" />"
    	height="<actinic:variable name="BrochureLogoHeight" />"
    	alt="<actinic:variable name="StoreName" />"
    	class="logoimage"
    	border="0">
    </a>
    Logo is showing on the catalog pages and does indeed link back to the home page. Yay!

    But, the logo is only showing on the catalog pages, and not on the home page?

      You will need to adjust the brochure page logo layout as you did with the other one yesterday.

            OK

            back to basics

            for the "standard company image logo" layout add this code jst before the <img
            Code:
            <a href="http://www.yoursite.co.uk">
            then at the end of the code after all the size declarations add </a>

            then for the "Standard Brochure logo" layout code do exactly the same.

            try it without using the actinic variables, use full url's to see if its working, remember the logo is different for the home page and shop page

            If its working change the code to suit.

              Can't remember exactly, 2 or 3 times?

                It takes about 4 seconds to check?

                      Eh? You've lost me now. How would knowing where to define the company/brochure logo settings mean I know how many times I've changed it?

                      That sort of implies it's in the same place, but I can't see it anywhere!

                      Edit: I'm really not trying to wind anyone up, I'm sorry if my sometimes seemingly obvious questions are so simple to all you experts that it appears that way, but that wasn't my intention.

                      I'm just a new user after a little bit of help and advice from people who know a heck of a lot more about Actinic than I do because they've been using it for years. Isn't that what a support community is for?

                        There are two definitions for the company logo under site options, one under site and one further down under brochure, if you are using a brochure page as your home page then you need to check the second definition. see Darrens post above.

                          Ah yes, I missed that one.

                          I've changed both the Standard Company Logo Image and Standard Brochure Logo Image settings in Design|Library as suggested, but still no joy. I've taken all the variables out as requested:

                          Code:
                          <a href="<actinic:variable name="HomePageURL" />">
                          <img
                          	src="OnlyZebraLogo.jpg"
                          	width="489"
                          	height="75"
                          	alt="OnlyZebra"
                          	class="logoimage"
                          	border="0">
                          </a>
                          Yet still the image doesn't appear on the home page, but appears perfectly fine on the catalog pages...

                          Edit: Actually, just looked at the page source for both pages. Code below shows the relevant row for the logo image..

                          Home page

                          Code:
                          <tr>
                          <td height="63" valign="middle">
                          <img src="acatalog/OnlyZebra.jpg" width="299" height="62" alt="Online Catalogue" class="logoimage">
                          </td>
                          </tr>
                          Catalog Page

                          Code:
                          <tr>
                          <td height="75" valign="center">
                          <a href="../index.html"><img src="OnlyZebraLogo.jpg" width="489" height="75" alt="OnlyZebra" class="logoimage" border="0"></a>
                          </td>
                          </tr>
                          So the new settings aren't being picked up by the home page for some reason. Any ideas?

                            OK image appearing, i thought we were talking about image being clickable

                            image appearing

                            Right you have to specify the image in 2 places under the site options

                            one is near the top of the list on the right and one further down the list, make sure you have general selected in the left hand column

                              Sorry, I was on about clickable initially, but now it's gone off topic slightly

                              Yep, the correct logo is specified in both the Company and Brochure Logo settings in Settings|Site Options|General...

                              Edit: Even more baffling thing is, I've just logged in using a test account, and the logo shows on the home page!

                              Code:

                                Are you definitely looking at the same page when logged in and logged out. It could be that logged in you are looking at
                                http://deltanicola/index.html but that when logged out you are looking at http://deltanicola/acatalog/index.html. The second page would not work.
