Not sure yet H, the `Actinic pc` is squealing like a filthy ho at the moment with all the virus and malware checks that are being done on it.

I'll keep this thread updated as the day goes on.

It'd be nice to know if Actinic have had any reports of this?

We had been getting that too before we turned page preview off.

                  for me:

                  9.0.2
                  9.0.3
                  8.x

all got a little boost, especially the 9.0.3 rig.

                    Sorry for delay George,

Just been having my back bashed about by physio who told me off for slumping over the PC too much - he's obviously never heard of Actinic!

I'm on 8.5.3 catalog at the moment, waiting to resolve this before going up to v9.

I've spent all morning doing more scans, virus checks etc but still not sorted.
I have reported this to Actinic, but as of yesterday it seemed a new thing to them.

I can't see that doing an uninstall and reinstall will help and don't really wanna do it. It's definitely PC related as I said before the same snapshot works ok on my laptop under SP2 and it seems we all have different windows updates recently so nothing universal there. Very very strange...

No progress to report at all H, just a load of wasted time trying stuff and taking all day to put stock on that normally takes an hour and a half.

Might have to do a bit of musical pcs as our m-u pc aint working either now.

                      Losing interest, and fast.

                        It's ridiculous isn't it?

I've moved on to working with traditional paper and pen today and given up trying to add products. I've got 200 to add on and at an average of 2 per day at this rate I'm not even going to attempt it - I don't know why I'm even ordering more stock really??

Are you using XP or Vista? I'm on a Dell standalone desktop with XP, but a google on slow downs for that hasn't got anything recent that I can see of any use. Most of them talk about downloading clean up software, so I'm always a bit wary.

Is this perhaps related to the recent 'Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1' update that's been pushed down through the Auto Updater?

Someone mentioned this before, but I've gone onto the update.microsoft site to see the history of my updates and this isn't listed there at all, so it doesn't seem so, unless I should be checking somewhere else too.

If you have it installed you'll probably see it as KB951847

                                Hi,

Gone back to June last year and can't see it. I think George may have this -at least if we all had a common denominator, it would be a start eh
