End of Support for TLS Version 1.0, 1.1 and uplift of cipher suite.
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a cryptographic protocol used to establish a secure communications channel between two systems - your system and Global Iris. In line with industry best security practices, we will be discontinuing support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 by early August 2017.
Along with the discontinuation of support of TLS 1.0 and 1.1, this upgrade will also include the uplift of the cipher suite used for encryption. The table below outlines the Recommended and Supported Ciphers which will be available after the upgrade is completed.
Test Environment - 1st March 2017
We're upgrading the test environment first so that you can test your system before we make the updates in the live environment. These upgrades will apply to the following Global Iris URLs:
I believe I have TLS 1.2 and SHA 256 enabled on my server. Will this mean I have nothing to worry about?
How would I go about testing the set up using the sandbox URLS provided? Anyone know?
