Three items to grab when yer house catches fire -
we actually had the tumble drier go up in smoke recently (las month) when I was at work, so the missus (in that moment of panic) couldn't get to the drier plug so she switched off the mains fuse - then grabbed the cordless phone, ran outside to call the brigade only to realise that she's just cut all the power to the cordless - panic slightly more - then proceeded to do a damned fine impression of a headless chicken running to the neighbours(s) - plural - no one in etc - panic more

enventually she had phoned for the brigade, then ran back in and pulled the drier out bodily through the door before the fire brigade got there (what a hero - she saved the utility room !)

so for her three thing:

• Uninteruptable power supply
• the cordless phone
• the drier

(although not sure which order)
bonus - six big hunks - all eager to help - lots for the neighbours to talk about, and even more for the teenage daughter and her friends to drool over.

whats even funnier - she's about to be registered blind but she could still tell me how nice the firemen were
