    I can't beleive it!!!

    After 1 yr (minus 3 weeks) a customer has emailed to say that an item that was on back order has never been received and the other items in her order broke before they were ever used....

    She insists that our service is so poor because we never let her know that we could not deliver the goods to her.

    Of course she is insisting on a refund.

    I just can't beleive that it has taken her a whole year to complain.

        Yes she was charged and yes it was sent.
        Did she ever receive it, well we rely on our customers to let us know if they don't but 49 weeks later, Shes got to be kidding.

            I tried to raise a chargeback today against something that I bought in India a few weeks ago that hasn't arrived .. it was quite frustrating because the bank refused to accept my chargeback because I hadn't tried to resolve the dispute with the shop first, I know that this is a reasonable, sensible suggestion, but I can't really fly back out to India to have a little chat about the lack of delivery and the thing that really gets to me is that I have chargebacks/disputes against my online stores (all fake) and never ever ever has the customer been forced to contact me before the dispute is raised. grrrrr.

            I think your customer is mad by the way, why wait so long, even I am not that disorganised.

              There is no chance this would stand up - nobody waits a year to advise the products are faulty upon arrival... but quickly bolster your T&C to state you require faults in writing within 14 days of delivery.
