    That's the key word. To Actinic every poster is an actual or potential customer. This forum is an essential (and extremely low cost as long as we all contribute) part of Actinic's support strategy, the majority of their QA programme and a place to cull development ideas.

    Our part would seem to be to decide on an individual basis how much longer we wish to be unpaid volunteer members of Actinic support. I am taking a day off to give that some consideration.

      But this is not a one-way street. If Actinic is seen to have a flourishing community, its a good selling point and its popularity will continue to grow, and Actinic should repond by producing more new and exiting features for the product.

        Very true - but its the people that take the community for a ride for thier own personal short term gains that are going to break it.

          I for one see that you might just shoot your self in the foot by dropping the the responses or "giving up your unpaid work".

          I for one have purchased several items and services from people who are direct contributors to the forum and mostly on the strength of their contribution to the forum or recomendations from the forum.

          Lets not over look the benefits the forum has to all of us not just Actinic.
