The girls in the office insisted on having Radio 2 on this week. We normally have Radio 1 on all day. Talk about sleep-inducing. Ken Bruce - he must be aged 80+?? A very unproductive few days, and entirely due to the choice of "music"

my work music relies heavily on my mood

ranges from mellow music (enya etc...) to Rnb (timbaland, Furtado)

but i aint going nowhere near th "Heavy stuff"

How were they? Who do I manage to miss all of these tours, I noticed that the police were playing today, in New Zealand though, sadly, not very convenient at all.

the pics, Gabe...even I can't think of anything naughty to say (although that could be the alcohol LOL)
Just downloaded the new Korn album...good stuff!
There's something to be said for slow summer holidays (oh, and my protx appears to be working again...although not my VT, obviously )

I bought a swinging hammock for the garden 3 months ago, i sat on it once and then i had to put the rain cover on it for 3 months. Tomorrow i am going to work on that swinging hammock with my son asleep next to me, while listening to baby tunes from his various seats and musical devices.

In fact if he could listen to my head, he would not need me to spend money on batteries, i have the same tunes reverberating around my head free of power.

Pimms anyone....please don't piss down tomorrow, the cover is a right time consuming ballache to take off and put on.

A good gig (as usual), Captain Sensible was on form (dedicated a song called Life Goes on to The Alarm's Mike Peters), Monty mad on keyboards and Dave Vanian still not looking a day older. Sang most of my favourites including Love Song, New Rose and Eloise.

`New` bands could learn a lot from these guys.

That brought back memories - in the dim and distant past I saw Captain Sensible perform at at Hammersmith - he ended up playing a couple of numbers dressed only in his socks and a hat I think.
