I dragged my poor kids around every potential mole shop I could find looking for moles, but didn't find a single one (in fact part of the reason we went to Minehead was to visit a potter that used to make moles - but his shop had gone), they are used to it by now though, they are excellent little mole hunters.

I was very tempted by the brioche and the Cidre, but resisted, I'm quite fat enough already I think.

lol Jan...typical female statement, I think.
      The male version going

I bought some anyway, why not?

We have a gorgeous French market in town (Gainsborough) about once every 2 months, I think. I either have to resign myself to avoiding the market altogether, or prepare to buy because I can't walk past much of it without buying something. Especially paté which I have something of a weakness for

Cidre is the French name for apple wine and in the German linguistic area particularly for the moussierenden apple wines originating from France is used. These become from different apple places fermented. A similar beverage, which will ferment from a mixture from apple and pear juice, is called Poiré. The Duden foreign word book calls also the word Zider, which is however hardly used.

Actually I thought that was a rather interesting bit of trivia, but then again, I'm a hobbyist wine maker so perhaps that's why.

funny you should say that i have a couple of bottles in my cupboard, also a cidre bouche (sparkling) with accent.

french cider is traditional to brittany and normandy, normally still and is much like scrumpy.

                DJ is that you

OK then Jo, come on whats the difference

                Cheers

As long as it gets you there, who gives a monkeys what it's called!

We've got 2 grapevines (rescued from twigs - 10p each from the Homebase Sad Department several years ago) - the darn things are now over flowing with wine making grapes - free to a good home once ready!
