It is of course a LOVE HATE relationship and as HATE is past we can only look forward to LOVE from now on.

So if Actinic want to avoid real words in the build numbering they will need to watch out for these.

After a persury review I suspect we would then only be able to have perhaps one or two builds in the next century.

OMG Duncan HUFA isn't there. On that basis would that mean in the next century it could come back to haunt us

Where is Gabe after 20 hours of failing to get PHP to read the product description on his XBOX installation when you need an Actinic alphabet creating?
Well actually i was away by the sea.

My version numbers are actually the names of comic book villains, from the DC universe. The current release version is due to be called 'Toyman', all these villains have at some point come into contact with Superman.

I was working on some php actually, you'll find it in another thread. its another way to bypass that pesky 20 year old perl linking system.

wierdly, i did experiment at getting an xbox to act as a server, copying the actiniccatalog.mdb to its drive every few minutes and then hosting actinet to a room of 'pooters. worked fine. and diddnt require the actinic computer to be turned on to let people access their data either.

seems it runs natively on the xbox. nintendo ds, sony psp, gamecube, dreamcast and best of all, an arcade machine.

all the above can run linux versions of the server tech used in actinet.

Gabe - do you know the line in the .pl script to pass the postcode through to the order?

I have just installed v8.5.1 on a Sponge Bob Square Pants game (free with McDonalds Happy Meals) but I am missing the postcode on the order - everything else is working fine (once I converted the images into 2bit pixel art)

                              Jont, try this

$sPostCode = substr($sPostCode, -4, 4); # just take the last 4 digits and parse to crabworth or patrick. Sponge bob will collect later

sadly, a known incompatibility with crabby patties makes this hack impossible.
