reguarding interest in website design and tweaking im sure i wouldnt be the only one willing to grab some quality work done by some of th eexcellent designers on here
can we maybe have a list of examples
ie: site design you say £1500 to £3000'ish
whats approx cost on some other things
as i need a person to add products and content for example as i have had a few emails about this with lee but had a wedding to sort out in the middle
i then need the main pages Seo'ing
so guideline prices would help im sure
if 8 people or so would do as suggested, how many pages how many products?
count me interestedRemembering the road to Actinic enlightenment is a long and sometimes painful one.

That's the idea Gareth, you get some quality work done at reduced prices, designers do something good and CiN get some valuable funds into the pot.
I guess at this early stage it's a case of gauging which site owners would like what and which designers/actinic users would like to join the team. I understand all cannot do a 24 hour period, but that is what i will be doing i hope and we could then have shifts through the day/night.
A live commentary on proceedings in the forum would be good too, hmm i wonder who never shuts up and needs something to keep her quiet, yes bumpsy i am referring to you. In between you setting up hidden products for stock control.
We also need a leader to bring things together and control proceedings otherwise we will earn about 3 quid and duplicate stuff about 14 times each.

Pimp My Site - sounds like a good idea to me. Perhaps Actinic Towers would get in on the act and offer a software upgrade for the winner or a page about the event on thier site so it would bring in some traffic.
You would need to watch if the winner was a V7 site upgrading to V8 - 24 hrs would certainly be a chalange

I'm flexible Mal, that was certainly my original thought, but if people would prefer a workshop type affair, i am happy with that too. I just have a real desire to do something this year, i read and saw something recently and something flicked a switch inside and told me that it must be 'this' year, not one of the 'next' years if you catch my drift.
I am happy to do more than a day if the work was there, i would happily do a 48 hour no sleep kind of thing. This forum is like home and i would like for one day in the year to bring us all unconditionally together and do some good.

A 24hr site will also be more marketable for the luck winner
