Well 25% of the questions seem to emanate from people lacking a pulse, so i guess so...

Yes we can find out - ask yourself this - could this forum and everyone using it be simulated?

Now the important question if the answer is yes -then ask yourself - Why?

Now heres are real doosy - if you can answer the why, then it is definitely a construct.

        Traditional Macaroni & Cheese

Quick and easy to prepare, this family favorite is always a welcomed addition for lunch or at dinnertime.

        Estimated Times:
        Preparation - 15 min | Cooking - 20 min | Yields - 6 servings

        Ingredients:

1 2/3 cups (about 7 oz.) dry small elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
        2 tablespoons cornstarch
        1 teaspoon salt
        1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
        1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 can (12 fl. oz.) Evaporated Milk
        1 cup water
        2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

        Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 375° F. Grease 2-quart casserole dish.

COMBINE cornstarch, salt, mustard and pepper in medium saucepan. Stir in evaporated milk, water, and butter. Cook over medium-heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 1½ cups cheese until melted. Add macaroni; mix well. Pour into prepared casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese.

BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and light brown.

NOTE: To transform Macaroni & Cheese from a simple dish to a savory one-dish meal, add 1 cup chopped ham or hot dogs after milk mixture comes to a boil.

Back to religion again and God but under the guise of SysAdmin.

By the very nature of having someone creating the construct for their own purpose suggests they themselves are part of another contruct. The SysAdmin (God) would need to be an integral part of the construct and therefore be infinite. However, there can be only one SysAdmin (God) so he can not exist.

Today's rambling, based on a conversation with a friend of mine:

Nano technology is coming of age, with microscopic robots capable of many clever things.

The recent film 'day the earth stood still', showed nano-scale robots, devouring all in their path, and splitting, like some clever robo-amoeba. This is a good example of how our simulation can take place.

You see, if we were to invent such a device and each one of the tiny robots could communicate with another, each adding to the intelligence of the swarm, eventually, they would consume and digest the entire earth, together with everything on it, living and dead. This together with their data storage capacity makes them a perfect host for all the information ever ammased by the human race, in their heads and on books.

This cloud, then moves on and after billions of years, manages to devour the entire solar system and our sun, and then move on to every other star and dare i say it 'alien' race out there.

The world we live in could merely be the daydreams of an incredibly lonely and tired nano-bot-cloud, containing the information that was once stored in our universe.

I hope you were referencing the basis of the storyline as a 'good example' of the future of mother nature and not referencing the movie itself as 'good', it was nothing short of absolutely awful. Only good thing about it was Jayden Smith, simply because he's awesome

On a more serious note, you'd best stop helping out with all the programming parts on the forum, what if these were the robots asking for help to program their siblings?

Gabe, I'm sure this is how Terry Pratchett started out, ableit with giant Elephants supporting a Turtle with the World on its back.

nano-bot-clouds - Could you seed this cloud with virus granules (perhaps a rogue nano-bot in the cloud) and cause a universal rain shower of dead nano-bots, which ultimately spin and cluster into universal matter clouds leading to the creation of galaxies, starts and planets?
