Just left a voicemail message for a customer whose credit card had been declined and rather than saying "missing digits" I, for whatever reason, said "missing midgets"....
My missus (German) said "This 4 wheeled mobility scooter does not need a diving licence", she meant "driving licence" but because it went thru the spell checker, "it must be right" - it was on the web for about six months before someone point it out to her.
and then, about three weeks ago, she also started talking to a customer on and off for a week, about supplying a "kerb crawler" for his wheelchair.
Eventually, he placed the order with her, and the supplier was contacted to purchase the said "kerb crawler" and he pointed out the true meaning of a "kerb crawler" and not a "kerb climber" - she wasn't allowed to forget this one
