    Adwords

I have found that most of the sponsored ads are not related to what I'm looking for, I now ignore them unless I know for sure that the site has really got what I'm searching for.
Most sponsored ads are irrelevant and time wasting as far as I can see....
We use them, but I'm not sure they bring us much profitable business, and we make sure the ads are as accurate as possible.

Same here. When I'm searching for something that I'm somewhat familiar with, I will scan the domain name before clicking on the result. Domain is usually a giveaway of the link's particular affiliation or bias. I usually ignore sponsored ads, unless I am looking for the official site of some product or service, but even then I scan the domain before clicking it.

I almost always ignore the Adwords listings because of the same reasons. I always look at the domain first and in most cases it seems that the search has been 'hijacked' by some other directory/catalog type site which normally has little or no relevance to my original search - something I thought Google was supposedly sorting out.
