I turned up 2 hours late to a structural mechanics exam during my Degree - all the others had been afternoon exams and this was in the morning! Recall walking the full length of the sports hall to the invigilators with everyone starring at me - convinced them it was an honest mistake and took the exam in the afternoon having been kept in isolation for the rest of the day (nobody had left the room).

Somehow managed to pass despite unable to shake the concern about being binned.

Time for an update, what kind of day or week are you having?


My Sky+ box is fried.
My mobile phone stylus keeps falling out.
My car boot is a mess of cut grass and sand, thanks to one weeks football training and one match.
My series 5 of The Shield is region 2 so wont play on my bedroom dvd player, which incidentally, cannot be unlocked.
I have a sore back tooth and a face thats all blown up on one side.


So yeah, things are improving up here.

I've just got series1 of the Shield, it's taken the whole of the series for me to start to enjoy it though.

Have you seen Breaking Bad?

The Corner is good if you don't have it already Jo.

The Shield was tough to start with, for me that was due to the predicability of Knucklehead Vic (cringeworthy I thought), but as the series goes on you start to understand and appreciate the other characters a lot more. There are a couple of tough storylines too.

I couldn't get into that war series (I forget the name right now) at all. I'll maybe try again sometime in the future.

I won't lie, I've never heard of Breaking Bad...
