Actinic's time scale is based on full integration, it has already been established that it is possible to integrate GC manually but without order/checkout integration.

I think I'm right in saying that Peter has managed to integrate GC so that it takes everything from the shopping cart (as opposed to hard coding just individual products) to Google's own checkout, which we have already discussed is perfectly adequate for our company and, I suspect, many others who process orders outside of Actinic as well as through Actinic. What I'm trying to establish from Peter is what (presumably very small) percentage of 600-800 days produces 100% of what some of us want.

We could go the full integration "So my little helper tells me" without any problem . . . I just decided to do it this way for now because we don't have the SSL on our site as yet.

A fuller integration (which we are now told is not difficult) would actually go further than I require but would be most welcome.

It wouldn't be like actinic to get someone else to do their work for them....they created this forum so they didn't need to give technical advice. Many clever people post on here for free to answer Actinic's queries.

It has been said before their technical isn't very good and they've even said to people using their support to post on here for an answer...

I am disgusted that Actinic have not sorted this in one shape or form.

I can only assume the hand of god, paypal, is what is stopping them..

To be fair i cannot believe that Actinic would slow down or not implement another PSP into it's software without just cause.
I would say they just want to get it 100% right before a patch is sent out.
Maybe someone from Actnic can confirm this and give out an official statement on the progress of this PSP integration.

We all look forward to the Actinic reply in due course.

Out of interest for those who have managed to implement GC has it been worth doing so in terms of profit made verus man hours to implement it?

I know an order is an order but since we implemented GC on one of our non actinic sites (GC when live 1st May) we have had just 11 orders. Thats 11 orders in nearly two months!

Most businesses and private individuals seem to be happy using our normal psp being Protx and at this point in time I would not implement GC.

I thought it would be more popular because of the name but when looking at the stats I have been proved wrong.

If it was available on our new V8 I would not bother to implement it.

Just my thoughts on the subject!

Exactly my experience on a non actinic site built to use GC - very few orders, customers are confused and we are now removing it as a PSP
