I couldn't get IE to stop being naughty, but I did get FF to be influenced by the rogue so now they are both the same.

Not that it really mattered - it was only apparent on a screen resolution wider than 1024, & then only if you switched between the two browsers to compare - I don't think many customers would do that!!

Jont - it was some Irish lad off sitepoint, long gone! But for twenty quid he made some big improvements for me.

Tracey - I'm still having trouble with v7 & html!!

I agree with this, Netscape, IE, Firefox & Opera all interpret CSS in their own slightly different way, so a page layout can go a bit astray in Firefox & be 100% in IE7 (IE7 does have it's own peculiar way of interpreting some HTML / CSS.)

Right place? Probably not but here goes. Chaps, need your help please.

George started this thread WeTrust.org (you don't need to open it) which led me to download the code in order to display a logo on my site. FOC & probably worthless, but he's got it & it's free for a year.

Inserting the code into a left-hand Smart Theme v7 panel:

        (i) a mouseover brings up a popup in Firefox but not in IE6 - why is that?
(George's site seems to be the same. I don't have IE7 to test it.)

(ii) When I put the code into a v7 Smart side panel it breaks the layout? See here for now until fixed

This is presumably a FF v IE issue, can any of you shed any light on it for me PLEASE ?

          mine is the same, Paul
the hover doesn't work in IE6 but does in FF and IE7.
I didn't worry too much about it, tbh and they didn't mention it (they've had a month to notice/comment)

It does not work because the code is a bit crap IMO. It breaks the site design because part of it is a box 417px wide - if you make any changes then the certificate popup does not work.
