Minimising Actinic

that still doesn't work for me
when I try to re-bring up my smaller window (usually my removeable drive so I can drag from desktop to it) it still maximises Actinic again in the background

ok a bit piddley but...
Make sure that the program/drive you want to access has been started before actinic so that when minimized to the task bar it is nearer the left hand of your screen. When all the programs are minimized you should be able to alt esc along the programs on the taskbar and hit return to maximize the program without causing Actinic to maximize too. If you alt esc to Actinic first it hogs your screen and your back to where you started.

Me too, but what you can do is resize the Actinic window to be quite small before uploading so you can still access your desktop.

yes, that's true, Duncan. Might try that (bet I don't remember til after I've started uploading/snapshotting though!)
