Yes you can; there are a number of options for expanding the content tree using the numeric key pad of the keyboard.
* : Expands everything under the current selection
+ : Expands the current selection
- : Collapses the current selection.
Additionally on the normal keyboard the 'right' and 'left' arrows have the following functions: -
RIGHT ARROW: Expands the current selection if it is not expanded, otherwise goes to the first child.
LEFT ARROW: Collapses the current selection if it is expanded, otherwise goes to the parent.
Most laptops do not have a numeric key pad, however the majority do have access to the key pad functions which are combined with other keys and accessed via the Fn key.
