How can I have a different range of order numbers on two or more sites? I need this so that the order numbers are unique when importing to my accounts package.
There are several ways this can be done.
1. You can use different script ID's for each site.
The last digit of the ID is used to form part of the order number.
Example order number for site with script ID of 31 would be TTTEST10000099
Example order number for site with script ID of 32 would be TTTEST20000099
Using this technique they can have up to 10 (0-9) sites importing to a single accounts package with unique order numbers.
2. If you are importing with Sage Link then you can specify a digit to prefix the order numbers with when creating Sage invoice numbers, so you could choose a different digit for each site.
3. You can set the starting order number from the troubleshooting dialog ( Help | Troubleshooting ).
