HSBC tell me that my website needs to be secure to transfer across to them. Is this true?
HSBC do require customers to be transferred from a secure URL, however, we have built this into our integration with them. When a customer clicks 'Next' to transfer to the HSBC server, they are first passed to one of our intermediate servers, which is secure, before going to the HSBC server. This means that your site doesn't have to have SSL switched on if you don't want it to be.
