This error can occur when the “UNC path to Shared sites directory” is inaccurate, please see the steps below to correct this:
- In SellerDeck Enterprise, go to File | Sites | Database setup.
- Under “Backup Details (for remote SQL server only)” you can see a field “UNC path to Shared sites directory”.
You only need to include a path to the Sites folder if SQL Server and the Sites folder are on different machines. If they are on the same machine, leave the field blank.
]If SQL server and the sites folder are on different machines, you need to enter the UNC path to Shared sites directory as per below:
Enter the path to the shared sites directory in this format:
\\SERVERNAME\SITES FOLDER NAME
For example:
\\PAULMACTINIC\Sites
- Click “OK”.
- Now try creating a new snapshot.
- If the error continues, the path to the Shared Sites folder may still be incorrect. Check the path as per the instructions below:
- Right click on the Shared Sites folder, and select “Properties”.
- Click on the “Sharing” tab.
- Under the heading “Network Path:”, copy and paste this path into the field “UNC path to Shared sites directory”.
