It is recommended to have only one synchronisation server running. By default, SellerDeck Enterprise installs and starts the synchronisation server on every installation, so once you have completed your install it is recommended that you disable this on all machines except the server.
If multiple sync servers are running, quite often you will run into conflicts if ever there is a communication problem with the correct sync server.

To disable the sync server follow these steps:
- Open the Windows Control Panel
- Open Administrative Tools
- Open Services
- You should see ‘Actinic Synchronisation Server vXX’ at the top of the list (XX representing the version of SellerDeck you are using.
- Double click this to view the properties
- In the General tab, change the Startup Type to ‘Disabled’
- For Service Status, click ‘Stop’
- Press OK
- This will stop the sync server from running and prevent it from starting the next time the computer reboots.
