Unable to open SellerDeck after upgrading v7 to v9.

After upgrading from version 7 to version 9 of the software, you receive an error: -

Failed to create new index 'nPromptID' on field(s) '[nPromptID]' in table [Checkout Prompt] - fatal error.Reported error was:

Invalid field definition 'nPromptID' in definition of index or relationship.

A serious error occurred when trying to upgrade the database

    upon opening the software.

This happens because the 'sTableVersions' entry from [Setup2] table in the software's database (ActinicCatalog.mdb) is corrupt.

To resolve this you will need to copy the data for this field from the default database (within a folder called 'Original') using Microsoft Access*.

    1. Browse to your Site** folder (If there is only one site within the software it will be called 'Site1', if there are multiple sites within the software you will need to browse to the site folder name corresponding to the current site you are using)
    2. Right click on 'ActinicCatalog.mdb', and select 'Open with | Microsoft Office Access'.
    3. Browse to the folder called 'Original' which you will find here - C:\Program Files\Actinic vX\Original (where X is the version number).
    4. Right click on 'ActinicCatalog.mdb', and select 'Open with | Microsoft Office Access'.
    5. Go to the table [Setup2] in the database open from the folder called 'Original' and copy the entire contents of the 'sTableVersions' field.
    6. Close the database from the folder called 'Original'.
    7. Go to the table [Setup2] in the database open from your site folder and paste the copied code replacing the entire contents of the 'sTableVersions' field.
    8. Close the database.

Open the software and it should operate correctly

    * Microsoft Access is supplied as part of the 'Microsoft Office Professional' program suite; it is not supplied by SellerDeck.
** Depending on the installation option chosen or operating system used, the 'Site' folder can be found in either 'My Documents', 'Documents', 'Shared Documents' or 'Program Files' in the folder 'Actinic vX\Sites\' (with X replacing the version number).
