Problems with Ecommerce Link

Hi All

Having a few teething problems with epos and version 9 business user plus link - trying to setup but really not sure why i can't get the two to talk to each other.
i can see the business user host pc in my network connections and local network seems to talk to each other ok as i have two other workstations running off the business user system.

If anyone has any tips with linking Epos and Version 9 bus user plus togetehr would be appreciated

Problems with Ecommerce Link

Hi,

A few things to check are:

• Is the Branch Server IP address correct within Actinic Epos Link Configuration?
• Do you have Antivirus or Firewalls blocking the connection?
• Are permissions across the network open for file sharing?
• Do you have the Actinic Epos Server Link running? Check within programs.
• If your using Vista, is the UAC (User Account Control) turned off?
• Is the Port Number within Epos Link Configuration 4370?
• If none of the above solves the connection issue then you could also try re-installing the link server on the EC - PC.
