    Hi all,

I am just posting this, incase this helps people in the future reading this thread.

In the last couple of weeks, we introduced an "Assisted upgrade" and "Managed upgrade" service. This gives you an alternative to the DIY upgrade route.

For more information, please see the link below or contact SellerDeck sales:

    Thanks

I had problems upgrading recently with prices mysteriously changing when pages were viewed. tech support sorted everything out for me quickly and efficiently. I ordered the upgrade with a 1 year support contact which did not cost too much extra.

notes about Hierarchical Import file fields

Just for the record, a few notes about importable Product fields:

ean - this is a barcode field for the Google Product Search. This needed a preceding apostrophe ' so that the csv file didn't (annoyingly) convert it into scientific notation. Don't know yet the best way to get rid of these apostrophes en masse in SellerDeck, if it ends up mattering for Google's product feed...

custom variable - imported OK using Variable Name and Value.

filtering - Enable Filtering And Sorting, Make Filtering As Default View etc - just couldn't get this to register properly after import, SD produced error messages and filtering wasn't applied, despite the settings showing in the SD interface OK.
UPDATE: I also tried to mass update each section to be filterable, by exporting the entire catalog, manually updating each section record under the Enable Filtering And Sorting header from 0 to 1, then re-importing. This didn't work. Only by manually ticking each section to Enable does SellerDeck recognise this, for some reason.

Here's a list of all the standard fields which imported OK as CSV:

        Header:Section
        • Section name
        • Section Description
        • Section Image
        • Section Meta Description
        • Section Meta Keywords
        • Section Included in Search
        • Section Hidden on Web Site
        • Page Name
        • Section Generate Product Page

        Header:Product
        • Product Reference
        • Short Description
        • Full Description
        • Price
        • Image Filename
        • Can be Ordered Online
        • Tax Treatment
        • Detail URL or File
        • Detail Link Text
        • Hide on Web Site
        • Use Product Page
        • Product Page Name
        • Product Page Meta Description
        • Product Page Meta Keywords
        • Use Product Page in Site Map
        • Clicking Product Image in Product List
        • Text Link in Product List
        • Clicking Product Name in Product List
        • Thumbnail
        • Cost Price
