    Password reset issues

    Good evening everyone,

    First year using accounts properly, and people forget their passwords, I noticed a number of people having problems and so I have tested it myself.

    You request a reset and email sent to the account's email address with a link, email arrives but the link is incorrect. Only gives part of the URL needed.

    /cgi-bin/bb000001.pl?ACTION=PWDCH&PWDCHID=dde1f8b727574b41f19e81a1c42735db&USER=xxxxxxxxx
    and even the /cgi-bin/ isn't part of the hyperlink.

    If you click on it, it doesn't work.

    If you copy and past the whole and put it onto www.organicplants.co.uk/ it works.

    How can I adjust this so it actually works.

    I tested this locally but not able to replicate. Is this the default Forgot Password link on the login page? Is there a test account I can try with to see the link it would send me?

      Thanks for testing it, I will set you up with a test account and see if you have the problem.

      It was the login page where I triggered the email from.

        This issues has been looked at by the guys at Sellerdeck, I thought I would update the thread just in case anyone else suffer from the same problem:

        Go to "Web | Network Setup ", untick " Use Relative CGI-BIN Urls in Catalog Pages".
        Apply and upload the site.

        You should now get the full url in the emails.
        So thanks to Kirthi for working that one out.
