      I now have to redesign the whole site because of this.
      Its a bug, shouldn't have let me do it then upload all fine then crash later on.

      Peblaco, what im saying is, Sellerdeck allowed me to do a whole load of things wrong, work perfectly for nearly a year then decides to crash. Its a bug for sure.

        It seems that you did not understand the description fields and where they appeared on the page preview. You said the explanation given was correct. That part does not sound like a bug.

        However if you had fields which previously contained text which were wiped by the software, or the page preview was showing a different page, then yes that could be a bug.

          The bug is the fact that my errors worked fine for a whole year then slowly started to crash with bits slowly vanishing. In just one day someone could enter several hundred wrongly, see it all working fine then have it all crash months later. Sorry but im sticking with my bug report and will email sellerdeck so that maybe they can do something in the next maintenance release to prevent someone from spending days building a site - see it all working properly then go wrong slowly months down the line.

            If content is vanishing that could be a bug. If you hear back from SellerDeck support on that issue that they find a bug then it might be useful if you could report back on this topic with the details and bug reference number as it could help others if they have the same problem.

              Gladly, I will help anyone with this if I can.
              I have emailed sd to suggest they update in the next software release to prevent users from making the same mistake, see it all working fine, do loads of work, then see it all go wrong later on.

              I really like your templates, number 9 is great.

              p.s. sellerdeck are escalating this as a 'usability' issue, fair enough but it should have been fixed after I first reported it over a year ago. Nevermind, as long as it prevents others from wasting a lot of time then that's a good thing.

                Just had to re-visit this thread, yep ive done it again
                Once again, huge thanks to Peblaco

                My way of using this software appears to be 'burned' into my brain, so i will keep making this mistake.

                Now im copying this whole thread to a text file and putting it in my desktop folder entitled "sellerdeck emergencies"
