Paypal v14 Identity Token?

Paypal Website Standard Now Asks for

Merchant ID : Which is the email address associated with the account
Identity Token : ??

What is the identity token and how do you get it? The old versions of Actinic only asked for the Merchant ID.

The information button in the Configure Method window link to a post but there is nothing there. There is another post which mentions identity token and PayPal - Payment Data Transfer - see details about locating the identity token. There is also a post for PayPal auto return URL.

To get the token, you need to specify a return URL.

"it needs a URL within the field to activate the feature, it is not actually used as it is overridden by a command sent by the transmission script.

Therefore simply entering the site URL: -

http://www.myshop.co.uk

should suffice.

However having said that, if as the developer states, that the URL entered into the field in the account is immaterial, then I would be inclined to enter the URL: -

http://www.myshop/cgi-bin/ca000001.pl?SEQUENCE=3&ACTION=Finish

as if for whatever reason, the command sent to PayPal fails or is stripped, then PayPal will default to this URL entered here and this URL will display the receipt."
