    OK.

Try ticking "Use Relative CGI-BIN URLs" and testing that. If it makes no difference then untick it and untick "Use Passive FTP" and test that (although you may have already tried those?)

The hosts new server set up may not allow localhost

For the email using localhost for smtp setting should resolve this. I’ve never had these issues before with these settings. It’s got to be a server issue. Just hope they take me seriously else I will have to change hosts.

    Hello thanks for the help....

Well my exported network settings are:

    HTTPPROXYPORT 80
    HTTPPROXYUSER
    HTTPPROXYPASSWORD
    FTPPROXYMODE 0
    FTPPROXYADDRESS

    SSLFTPUSERNAME brillia2
    SSLFTPPASSWORD
    SSLPATHTOCGIBIN /public_html/cgi-bin/
    SSLUSEPASSIVEFTP true

The error message I get is:

The server returned an invalid or unrecognized response

    followed by this:

The test script failed to execute on the web server. The error could be caused by several things. Check:
    - the 'Path to the Perl shell'
    - the 'CGI script extension'
    - the 'Path to CGI-BIN'
    - the 'CGI-BIN URL'
    - the amount of web space left on your server
    - if your server is configured to accept POSTs to CGI scripts
    - the permissions on the server:
On Linux/Unix based servers the permissions should be:
    cgi-bin (755)– drwxr-xr-x
    Online Store Folder (777)– drwxrwxrwx
On Windows based servers (need to be checked with the hosting company):
    IIS
    cgi-bin = read/execute
    Online Store Folder = read/write/execute
    NTFS
cgi-bin = Catalog's FTP account needs 'Change' permissions on the directory
Online Store Folder = Catalog's FTP account needs 'Change' permissions on the directory AND the IUSR_<servername> account needs to have 'Change' permissions on the directory

Hope this helps to shed some light onto it...

    cheers Bhu

Have you changed "Common Settings, you have the Web Site URL as http:// - I would have thought it should be https://"? as per my suggestion?

The Permissions for all my sites are :

    public_html - 711 or 755
    acatalog - 755
    cgi-bin - 755

I'd be very sceptical about having a public facing web server with a folder that has 777 permissions.....

As I've previously said, the Network Wizard in SD2016 is flaky at best - I rarely used it.

Use the Export... facility in Network Setup and post the contents here (after removing passwords and any other sensitive information)

Whats worrying is that I can access the site via ftp software such as cuteftp and send and download emails via outlook so the host is saying its 3rd party software error that needs to be addressed by sellerdeck!

To be honest, the Network Wizard in SD2016 is unreliable (in my experience). If the website uploads, you can download orders and emails are sent etc then I wouldn't worry about it.

I haven't had a problem with the Network Wizard in SD2018.
